Wyoming Basketball Kicks off Districts With Victory
On Monday, February 23rd, the boys Wyoming Wolves basketball team defeated Plainwell in the division 1 district 8 tournament. While they lost to Northview on Friday, they have seemed to bounce back from the loss and played better against Plainwell.
Wyoming’s next scheduled game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th in which they will face 1st seed East Kentwood and hopefully defeat them. The game is at Caledonia and at 5:30 pm.
Wyoming placed second in the district so big congratulations to them for that. Hopefully they will make a deep run into districts and make it to states, even if they do not, they have still had a good season and are a group of talented players.
If you are still confused about what the game is for, if Wyoming wins, they will progress to the next round of the tournament and eventually if they keep winning, Wyoming will advance to states.
Go Wolves!
