The annual Clothes Drive was hosted by WHS’ own National Honors Society in early February.
The drive was a collaboration between National Honors Society and the Hispanic Center and spanned January 26th to February 6th. During the time the Clothes Drive was held, students and families were able to donate unwanted or old clothing in which all proceeds would go to the Hispanic Center. Collection bins were placed around the school where donations were dropped off and collected after the end of the event.
The end of the Clothes Drive was met with large success, receiving an abundance of donations from students which surpassed expectations for the potential involvement in the drive and allowed for the Hispanic Center to receive a large sum of donations to give to those in need.
Make sure to clean out your closets for next year’s clothes drive!
