Do you have a good imagination? Do you know the basics of survival? If yes then Minecraft is the game for you. Minecraft is the awesome open world sandbox game created by Markus Persson (Notch) who used to own Mojang, the studio behind Minecraft’s development, however, he sold his part of Mojang to Microsoft in 2014 for $2.5 Billion. Minecraft is the most sold video game of all time with an astonishing 350 million copies sold and everyday Microsoft is making billions of dollars off Minecraft due to its high popularity. Minecraft has multiple versions such as Java, Bedrock, Education, Legends, and Dungeons. Minecraft Java is the computer version of Minecraft which is highly moddable with websites like curseforge and modrinth. Bedrock is the more diversified version spanning multiple devices such as Xbox, Playstation, Computer, and your Phone. The education edition is the Bedrock edition but it’s only on computer and it is designed and made specifically for school purposes. Minecraft Legends and Dungeons are Minecraft Spin-Offs that follow more of a story and set path rather than putting you on your own and starting from scratch.
Minecraft is my favorite game and it has many positive aspects to love. One thing I love about Minecraft is that everything you do comes from your imagination and level of creativity. There are many buildings you can build with your imagination such as medieval or victorian houses, huge castles, farms for many items, redstone mechanics, cities and stores, floating islands, minigames, and so much more.
Another thing I love is how there are different game modes such as Survival which starts with nothing and makes you gather materials and fight monsters. Creative lets you have a list of items you can pick out and build anything with infinite materials. In creative you can also fly which makes building high areas easier and you can get good views once you’re done building. The last game mode is Hardcore which is like Survival however, the difficulty is not able to be changed and is stuck on hard. In Hardcore if you die the game makes you delete your world so whatever you’ve built will be for nothing which makes this mode a challenge.
Minecraft is an amazing game where you can show your creativity, play with your friends, and survive with a little challenge to make your brain think. Minecraft has many servers you can join which allows you to play with others online. Online servers have many games you can play such as bedwars, skyblock, and skyward. Minecraft is one game I would recommend anyone play no matter the age, this game is so good that I would rate it a 10/10 and 5 stars.
