The highly anticipated music festival is coming up quickly. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be on two weekends (April 12-14 and 19-21) this year which is already 2 months away.

The festival will take place at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Many artists are expected to be there and participate in the festival which is getting many fans excited and riled up.

The headlines for the festival this year will be Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, and Doja Cat. Along with many artists in the festival like Grimes, Ice Spice, Justice, Lil Uzi Vert, Tinashe, Ateez, J Balvin, Le Sserafim, and many, many more on the lineup.

Organizers are hoping this year to have a more smoothed out experience since the last couple of years had some errors with past headliners. Some examples being both Kanye West and Frank Ocean pulling out at the last minute in 2022. Also during last year’s festival, Ocean dropped out on his second-weekend set and his performance was cut short due to curfew issues.

Tickets are selling from $499 to $599 + fees for general admission.

So far though this year tickets have been the slowest in sales since 2014. Which is a little unexpected with so many different artists on the lineup that could get others attention.

Besides the sales being low, people are shocked with some unexpected artists performing at the show. One being the AI star Hatsune Miku.

Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid software voice bank represented by a 16 year old girl with long turquoise hair. She’s actually very well known and popular in Japan. She performs at live virtual concerts before as an animated projection, and she actually has been a part of the coachella lineup in 2020 but got canceled due to the pandemic.

Other highly anticipated artists on the lineup are the kpop acts which are ATEEZ, Le Sserafim and The Rose. Each band will perform once for 3 days of the festival. Many that participate in the festival will get a taste of some Different types of Kpop that isn’t BTS or Blackpink.

Now something that is highly talked about when it comes to Coachella is the fashion choices. In the past the fashion wasn’t the best and was quite basic with the sun hats, boots and sunglasses. It became a place for influencers to just come and take pictures for their instagrams.

But now people on social media are discussing what could be the best outfit choices people could wear to the festival this year. Rocker / Y2K type looks are the top fashion looks being predicted and discussed in the media for what the overall theme will be during the festival. To cool leather pants and bandanas and/or doc martin shoes with a cute summer dress/skirt.

Now one thing you should know if you are going to the music festival is to know what to bring with you to stay safe because it can get scary out there. One thing that’s recommended to bring is a cup cover for your drink so your drink doesn’t get spiked. Another thing you should bring is some sort of charm device that tracks your location so when you press it, it will immediately alert the police if there’s an emergency. But finally let’s be considerate of others and bring some deodorant or baby wipes because we know it’s going to be sweaty!
