The Wolf Pack Press isn’t just a writing assignment, it’s a coping mechanism for many. Journalism is filled with emotion and positive things. Although writers cover and talk about multiple things about Wyoming High School, you also build a friendship with people you interview.
At the High School I do multiple things like Marching Band , Key club and some after school fun hangouts with friends! Even though Band takes a lot of my time I enjoy working in my free time and hanging out with my friends. Marching band has opened my window to Drumline , Colorguard, scholarships for Jazz Band and so much more. Going on the Adventures and exploring gives so many opportunities to write about it for the school newspaper.
Although writing is something I truly enjoy, I enjoy other classes like English. Writing is a big part of my life and it helps relieve stress just like music. Journalism has helped me become a better writer but also put my work out there and help with the future.
Some things I cover with the WPP are things with the Marching Band , Camping trips the school has , and small things that people miss. Even though some can be boring and not as fun to write, the end product always makes it worth it.
