Angel Aviles-Santiago, Contributing Writer
Stories are everywhere, and I’ve always been interested in telling them. My name is Angel Aviles-Santiago, and I’m excited to be a writer for the Wolf Pack Press. Writing has always been something I enjoy, especially when I get to share ideas or talk about things that matter to other students. Being part of the school newspaper gives me the chance to do that while also learning more about journalism.
Outside of writing for the paper, I spend a lot of my time reading and writing my own stories. Reading helps me get new ideas and see different perspectives, which inspires my own writing. I also enjoy running because it helps me clear my mind and stay active. When I’m not doing those things, I like spending time with my friends. Whether we’re hanging out, talking, or just relaxing, those moments are really important to me and often give me ideas about what students care about.
For the Wolf Pack Press, I’m most interested in covering student interests. I want to write about things that actually matter to students and show what life at our school is really like. Sometimes the best stories come from everyday experiences, and I think it’s important that students feel represented in the newspaper.
As a writer, my goal is to create stories that other students will enjoy reading and feel connected to. I hope my work helps highlight student voices and brings attention to the different experiences people have at our school. I’m excited to be part of the Wolf Pack Press and to share stories with the school community.
