The Metro Cruise was a huge hit this summer, and everyone had a nice time.
The event took place on August 22-24 all around 28th Street, starting from the Rogers Plaza all the way to Fifth Third Bank. These events usually ended at around 10-11pm to ensure everyone’s safety. What’s great about these events is that it is free entry. There were so many cars and even more people looking at them. People walked in every direction.
The majority of people who attended the events were car enthusiasts and lovers, but there were families taking walks around. You could just look at certain groups of people and tell they have a clue in what they’re looking at.
Seeing everyone come together just to look at cars feels relaxing, there’s something about seeing all these other builds and knowing that those cars were once nothing like that is very amusing.
I plan on taking my car next year, it has always been something I’ve dreamed of doing ever since I attended my first Metro Cruise event four years ago. I drive a 1993 1500 Chevrolet Silverado and I definitely feel like it’ll catch attention and get compliments if I take it out next year.
What’s also so great about these events? In my opinion it’s the kind of paint jobs and unique cars they have out there, during the event you see cars you’ve never thought you would see in the condition that they’re in.
