Mr. Klepac adjusts to Wyoming
Mr. Klepac is an English 9 and 10 teacher in our school. It’s his first year teaching here and I got the chance to interview him.
Mr. Klepac isn’t an overall first-year teacher. He also taught for four years at Belding High School, He taught all four years of English along with Honors English, Science Fiction, and Creative Writing, and even was the NHS advisor. He went to Hope College, and while there he majored in English and minored in Psychology.
Mr. Klepac has been at the high school for a few months. While interviewing him I asked how his experience has been so far with the new dynamic. “It’s always unique when your leave one place coming to a new place,” he said.
He also mentioned that is a refreshing aspect of WHS. “There is more community that’s apparent in the hallways. Compared to my last school there’s a lot more inclusivity and the spaces are much higher quality.”
I also got the chance to ask him about the other staff and facility, “Staff and facility here a lot of them hold themselves to very high standards and high expectations,” he said.
So far, he has enjoyed the challenge of being in a new school. “It has been humbling in a few ways with moving to different spaces and making new connections and bonds,“ he said.
