Jason Kelly is a junior here at Wyoming High School and has been going to Wyoming High School since freshman year. Jason is a very great student, he mostly stays to himself, is very quiet, and only really talks if he is being spoken to.
What does Jason wish he could do better at as a Student?
Like every other student here at WHS or any high school in general, math is a difficult subject for most students to understand. Geometry and algebra are common math subjects taken in high school and some people find algebra difficult than geometry, but other people find geometry more difficult than algebra, but it all really depends on the person. As a student here at WHS, Jason finds algebra or math in general to be difficult and wishes he could improve on his math skills. “What I wish I could do better? I wish I could do…be better at math or algebra, It was pretty confusing. Like working on my math skills, trying to improve, because it’s been difficult for me to try to understand, and keeping up with some of my other classmates, because it seems easier for them, but difficult for me,” said Jason. We do have after-school tutoring where students could stay after school on certain days to find help on subjects they might need help in, which Jason could probably take a look at if he wishes to so he could improve his math skills.
Does Jason feel welcomed at school?
Here at WHS, we try to make everyone feel welcome to enjoy their time learning and not feel left out. As a student, Jason explains that he had always felt welcomed here because of the friends he has. They make him feel comfortable here and they make him want to show up to school. “Well, I felt pretty welcomed before, because I had some friends here with me. And it was nice to be by their side. I felt comfortable knowing that I had people who I knew and who I could hang out with at the time,” said Jason. School is always better when you have friends or people you can be comfortable with, which is an advantage to make students show up to school. Knowing that Jason has friends he can be with is probably a good reason why he comes and shows up to school every day.
What is Jason’s favorite movie and why?
Have you ever watched “Deadpool & Wolverine”? This movie came out on July 26, 2024 and is currently one of Jason’s favorite movies. Jason explains that he is very interested in action and explosives, which explains why “Deadpool & Wolverine” is one of his favorite movies. “My favorite movie is well, currently Deadpool Wolverine because it’s pretty crazy how they brought back two famous characters from the multiverse and all the action, explosives, and Deadpool breaking the fourth wall,” said Jason.
If Jason could go back in time, what time would he like to be brought back to and why?
If we could go back in time, many people would choose to relive a special moment in their life or sometimes rethink their decisions. Jason says he would go back to 2012 because that’s where there would be better TV shows and movies. “Back in time huh? Maybe 2012, because that’s you know, like good movies and TV shows around back then and I’m pretty sure back then I was only like five or something,” said Jason.
If Jason Could Go Anywhere In Their World Where Would He Go?
Jason says that he would love to go to Japan because of the cool technologies and how advanced they are. Another reason Jason would like to go to Japan is because there is a lot of good food there that isn’t sold here in America. “Anywhere in the world? I’d go to Japan because they got a lot of cool stuff there and like advancements and technology and stuff. And also some Japanese foods there that don’t come here to America,” said Jason. Japan does have a lot of advanced technology and is a very nice place to go visit with lots of good artifacts and food.
Jason is a very good person to have a conversation with and an interesting person to be friends with. Jason has many interests and has a very calm personality and seems to love to make new friends. I think everyone should get to know Jason as a person at some point and maybe become friends with him, especially at school so he could enjoy his time as a student at WHS.
