It’s a new school year, and WHS has a new crop of seniors.
One of them is Leonardo Jimenez. After high school, he hopes to move to Texas to pursue a career as a rig welder. Long term, Leo hopes to own his own mobile rig welding business and have a family. He believes that moving to Texas would be a good move, because there are areas where houses are generally cheaper over there.
Leo is focused on establishing a place for himself. If he could have anything, it would be a house with 20 acres of land, noting that the value of the property would go up.
Leo is not all about big plans for the future, though. He is looking forward to the rest of his senior year, particularly senior skip days. When that day comes, Leo plans to do things like go out with friends. Leo hopes that they'll be serving tacos for the senior skip day event, and as for the drinks, he hopes they will serve Jarritos soda. He said he is unaware of the activities they will host at the senior skip day event but he says he can't wait.
“Ive had people last year tell me it was pretty fun so ill definitely check it out when the day comes,” said Leo.
