Ms.Miller has a strong love for music and performing and I can tell through her style of teaching and her excitement in teaching.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane. “Before I decided to become a teacher I really wanted to perform, specifically be an oboist and feature myself playing with an orchestra or in small ensembles and in that way I can travel around the world and see the world and share my music,”she said.
Even though Ms.Miller initially didn’t plan to become a teacher she thinks that it is “very exciting to me and very satisfactory and I’ve gained a lot and I love learning things about my kids and getting to develop those relationships but a piece of me misses that performance aspect of me being the performer rather than the director”
