Remember homecoming? Andrew Trieu and Beatrice Vedani were chosen as Homecoming king and queen. Right after they won, The Wolf Pack Press asked them a few questions.

Beatrice Vedani
What did you do to help you win?
“Actually nothing special, I just try to be nice to all people and I think that being nice and just advertisement, not a lot, not force them like if you want to vote me, it’s ok, and yeah that’s it.”

And were you surprised when you won?
“Yeah I was surprised because I thought that Hayden would win at first. I feel bad for her because I don’t know I don’t want to steal the scene, you know, but I was happy because I’m here for a month and…. I don’t know its crazy you know”

What were you thinking when you won?
“I thought that my mom was crying because I’m italian and in Italy we don’t have homecoming, we don’t have prom and we don’t have graduation, so this stuff is new for me and I feel really like a movie because I don’t know, I saw in the movie Queen that, I don’t know. It feels like a movie, yeah.”

#Did you think that you were going to win?
“So, I thought that there were some probability but I thought it was Hayden but I’m so happy”

What did you do to help you win?
“I was just really genuine. I just really wanted to have fun with the court and I’m really grateful that I won. I am so happy that we made great memories with them.”

Were you surprised when you won?
“ I was really surprised that I won. I really didn’t think I was going to win. I was just so happy I was just in the moment, I was just happy that I was on court.”

And what were you thinking about when you won?
“ I was just really excited when I won and when looking out everyone I knew was there. My whole friends, family, friends I met years ago at school. Every person I met was there and when I left I was so excited, all the text messages, facebook posts, so much people in my circle, which is a big circle but they were all there and I was just so happy for that.”
#4- “And did you think that you were going to win?” “ I think that, I didn’t think of that really, I didn’t think I was going to win, like I said I was just happy that I was on court but I’m really grateful that I won homecoming king with Beatrice and we had a great time so yeah.”

“ Enjoy your senior year, have fun in high school, don’t think about it so much and just like live it! Thank you!”
