“The Platform” is a really interesting movie. Give it a shot and see how much you might like the movie.

The movie’s plot is set up like a survival game. It takes place in a prison where inmates are fed on a descending platform. Those on the upper levels take more than their fair share. That leaves all the lower levels left to starve on scraps. One man named Goreng decided to change everything when he put himself inside of the prison.

Watching people trying to figure out how to survive is funny to me, and the characters in the movie do unexpected, surprising, and crazy things as they try to make it through..

When the old man Trimagasi (Zorion Eguileor) and Goreng (Ivan Massague) were inmates together. They have spent one month together but after the one month you’ll get moved to a different level while you’re sleeping. They ended up in level 171, Trimagasi was hungry so he tied up Goreng while he was still in a deep sleep. Trimagasi had only one month left until he could get out so he decided to try and cut little chunks of Goreng off so he could stay alive. See what I mean, crazy, right?

And gruesome! There are a lot of people who are driven to go crazy since they are starving and there is no entertainment to distract them. People are turning on each other and others are just looking out for themselves. In one of the scenes there are people who are just jumping off their platforms because they can not take it anymore The people who started at the top and then moved down to the very bottom didn’t want to do it so they jumped. You also have people who are fighting over food.

I really think you guys should give the movie “The Platform” a chance because you might end up loving it.
