Sports photography can bring experiences, challenges, and excitement.
Lisbet Diaz is one out of many photographers of the WHS boys soccer team. She takes photos of the soccer team’s best moments. “I like playing soccer, I like photography, they both are my hobbies and I like being entertained by both,” Diaz said.
Although snapping a picture might seem easy, there are challenges and obstacles that make it hard for the photographer to get the perfect shot. This might be due to many not knowing when the players next move is going to be. “Honestly, (that happens) when somebody is making a shot and you don’t capture it or it comes out blurry,” said Lisbet.
Another challenge for most is not having the time to go to all the games, this is a result of the away games or other personal reasons. For LIsbet, being a photographer doesn’t mean going to every game. “ It’s just a hobby,” she said, “I don’t go to every game.”
Despite all of the obstacles that come with getting the perfect shot, it is what makes Lisbet come back. “I like the excitement that comes with getting a good shot,” she said.
