The Solution to Procrastination

Excuses, Excuses!
While every day passes on, I’m sure you wonder whether you want to complete tasks such as: Do I want to do my homework? Do I want to clean my room?, etc. To be real with you, I’m not a very productive person but more of a person to procrastinate and push things off. What are you?
If you said “procrastinator”, listed down below are some ideas you can incorporate into your daily routines!

1) Change Your Environment
People who procrastinate usually stay in one setting. CHANGE IT UP A BIT!
2) Use a Planner/ Write It Out!
Writing down what you want to accomplish or do for the day helps individuals actually do it because it’s a reminder. Don’t forget to set a time and day you want the task to be completed!
3) Start Off With Smaller Tasks
Starting off with bigger tasks can make you feel overwhelmed, making you not accomplish anything. So, you should begin with smaller tasks. For example, making your bed or getting ready for the day. If you complete smaller tasks, you can transition into doing bigger goals.
4) Hang Out with a Positive Crowd
In order to get motivated and have support from others to help you achieve your goals is by surrounding yourself with good role models. If you hang out with the wrong crowd, you won’t get too far in your goals. Try a more positive and supportive friend group.
5) Do Physical Activities
If you’re in bed almost everyday, you won’t have the energy to even get up and do something. Try to do some stretches or go for a small run. That will get you started for the day.

I’m sure we all get frustrated with ourselves when we don’t get tasks done. But remember to use some of these tips to help you get those goals accomplished.
