Junior Year

I’m going to fail.
Personally, I’m not ready at all. We’re already 3 weeks into school and I’m ready to drop out. Seriously, this is not what I signed up for at all. I’m in Middle College and I think I’m gonna drop out, not gonna lie. It’s not that it’s really difficult or anything. It’s just that I don’t want to do it nor will it help with what I want to do in the future.
What’s the point anymore? I have so much on my plate that it’s not even funny. I also decided to try out for Volleyball and I made the Varsity team. Our practice is from 6-8 pm, which doesn’t give me much time to do things. They expect me to have my homework done for all my classes, go to practice, and then get like 8 hours of sleep. There’s no time for anything. I find myself finishing things in other classes, that’s due that day. I also haven’t been doing the reading that needs to be done for English or Middle College classes. I’ve just accepted that I’m not going to do well at all this year.
In response to her junior year, a current senior, Averie Hamby, stated that she “hated every minute of it.”
She isn’t the only person who answered about how they had felt about their Junior year.
When it comes to thinking about her Junior year, Taejah Cross, who has most of her life planned out at this point, says “[she] feel[s] like if [she doesn’t] procrastinate, it will go well, [she’s] been studying for [her] SAT, so that’s good.”
Junior year is difficult, as I’ve stated people have different opinions on how it has gone and how they think it will go. It is so dependent on who the person is. I feel like I’m not going to do my best this year, but that is my opinion.
