As we draw close to one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, Marvel fans around the world prepare for the conclusion to ten to eleven years of Marvel movies we know as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As I am prepared for Avengers: Endgame, I still am not emotionally ready to see what happens in the movie. As time goes by, Marvel has confirmed many things for the past few weeks such as the runtimes, promotional posters, international posters, ticket sales and so much more to be announced.
Avengers: Endgame will be the longest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie clocking in at three hours and two minutes. As much as I’ve wanted this movie to be three and a half hours, I’m grateful that the directors of the movie (Joe and Anthony Russo) have put their time and effort into making one of the greatest Marvel movies of the century. Posters have also been released this week as well as a few weeks ago revealing the living Avengers after the Decimation.
The new posters this week show the Avengers who have survived and symbolize their life in color as the ones who have died in grey. The posters don’t reveal too much thankfully as Marvel knows not to spoil too much of Endgame. Ticket sales have been confirmed to be on sale April 2nd so make sure you have enough money to pre-order those tickets so you have a good enough seat when Endgame hits theaters April 26th. And as soon as the tickets are on sale, we all know ticket sales will be going through the roof and Endgame will not only break box office records but pre-ticket sales as well. As for me, I’m taking most of my family, my cousins, my friends from work, and myself to see Endgame in IMAX. We saw Infinity War in IMAX, so we are returning to see Endgame in IMAX. Some of us have moved on, but not us.
